Not applicable on Preve, the DRL takes away the function of this bulb.

ohh. u mean the led light. understood.

thanks bro. guess I'll just buy that pair of bulb. by the way both high beam and low beam also is H7?
*
Yes, actually I also don't know why Proton uses halogen projector for the low beam with 55W power, plus the angle is low. Really affects the lighting. Proton should have used 110W bulb or just use normal reflector.

I paid RM70 for the OCT + RM60 for installation, including using fuel hoses instead of the PVC hoses which came with the OCT.
*
I would like to install it too, please PM me the shop contact and shop location biggrin.gif

does HID plug n play suitable for preve projector headlamps?
is it gonna give a burn mark on the plastic cover?

i change twice my right headlamps with phillips H7

is there any recommendation for HID? brand? model? location (KL/Nilai)? and feedback..
*
It will only make it worse, trust me. HID in halogen projector is a big NO.

You want to fit in HID, you need to retrofit the headlamp with HID projector, total cost is around 1k+.

Do make sure that you do NOT touch the glass part of the bulb when installing. It has to be squeaky clean, free of grease and dust. And perhaps you should get your stock from a different supplier, as there may be counterfeit in the market.
*
Nah, it's a prevalent design problem, possibly wiring. Even if you use original bulb purchased at Proton, it will wear out very much more quickly compared to other cars.

Hi, I am new here.

bought Preve in 2012 and unable to solve dashboard rattling sound. Had sent to service centre 3 times but still cant resolve. It is similar to the sound like some1 had post it in the youtube. https://youtu.be/V5jMIktQxzk

It rattling when the car is moving, at any speed and any road condition but Ocasionally might not heard it during cold weather.

anyone facing this problem n solve it?
*
That's a bad vibration. Usually replacing the engine mounting would do the trick.

Same thing as other cars, they have things need to be observed too.

Preve cfe already in max limit. So, what actually factory design already in best condition.
As I knew, racechip just cheat voltage value to ecu same as other device. What special about racechip is fine tuning by owner.
CFE CVT proton can act life family car.
*
QUOTE(sam2730 @ Sep 30 2016, 03:35 PM)
i agree with you.
As i know CVT is the main reason of the limit.
So i was trying to test on some method to improve some performance using the stick ECU hopefully.
As more smooth turbo lag or better output when we need speed. The turbo was small after all rclxub.gif

Have you guys heard any preve have replace some other engine? or change their CVT gearbox to some other gearbox.
*
Lol, wished I could spare that much money on the mods and risks, just thinking about the engine cost alone (if things went from bad to hell) set me back sweat.gif

dont blown off your engine.
Always dont over your RPM beyond 4.5k or 5k.
I saw some people just wrack the pedal just for speed and don't care about engine.
Engine is just a machine after all. Understand engine well before mod it. Rules of Thumb.
*
Nah I hardly drive over 120 @ 2.5k, my usual cruising speed is around 80 anyway laugh.gif

Nope, it's considered as part of consumables or wear and tear items. Similar to changing tyres, brake pads, screen wash, light bulbs, and arguably spark plugs.

Anyone using ns70 here?
*
I don't think NS70 can fit in due to the longer size and the terminal cables for the battery are short.

Hi guys,

My preve already clocked 20k mileage and just went to COSE for service last Friday.
I complained about the wind noise at C-pillar during my service but they told me I need to wait a couple of months for the replacement of the rubber  shakehead.gif
Any temporary solution while waiting for the replacement parts?  icon_question.gif  notworthy.gif
The wind noise is getting more and more annoying........
Thanks in advance

Most people would just slide a small piece of foam in the window gap.

Preve and Suprima share the same headlights don't they?

Other than the higher DRL luminance, there's no other difference?

Hi Morning guys..

this morning otw to work, my car seem to be loss pick up.. to speed up 100kmh need to lots effort compare to normal.. rpm ramp up to 3k.. which normally 100kmh rmp is between 2.1k only..

any idea what’s happening to my car? What could be the problem I’m facing with my preve cfe Year 2012?..
*
I read that cleaning up the throttle body would help.

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Nov 1 2016, 04:50 PM)
i have changed the engine mounting. Wow it's so much better now. Vibration is reduced and engine noises (weird one) are now gone.

At 40k Preve non-turbo, i didn't realised it was t he mounts issue that causes the vibration and weird noises from the engine bay.
*
It will come back after 15-20k of mileage unsure.gif

*
You need to take out the front bumper. There are three screws securing the headlight bracket to the frame.

I test drive a preve 2012 cfe today, this is the first time I drive preve and plan to buy, but I notice there is a indicator light on when I was driving, but I don know what indicator mean, can anyone tell me whether there is something wrong in car? I need to make sure the car is ok before and I loan from bank
*
That's the auto cruise on stand by mode, very easy to accidentally touch the button when you handling the steering wheels. Just press the button again, not an issue.

215/45/17 is perfect.

215/50/17 is a very bad idea.
