Got my Surface Pro 4 yesterday. Loving it a lot. I do get flickering when screen brightness keep changing specially when <20% and sometimes with keyboard attached I cannot boot or slow boot no idea why. Already updated to latest firmware but still no TH2 udpdate for due to some weird MS policy

My 1.5years old Surface Pro 4 screen started to shake when in high load. Used to not have such problem before I did a reset. Anyone facing this problem?

QUOTE(funny duck @ Sep 21 2017, 03:11 PM) Yes very common, I have already sent it for a warranty. Couldn't really use it at all for long hours of usage Yours still under warranty? Mine they say want to charge me RM2.1k to replace the whole device which I think is stupid for a defective product. I never drop it or anything and it just end up like that. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is really a overprice joke product. I got a first Gen iPad took still work fine today even drop 1-2 time. |

QUOTE(black_orphen @ Sep 26 2017, 07:31 AM) Yeah, the screen shaking issue is real and exist. The number of victims also not small. As expected from MS. Call me stupid but I bought an iPad Pro 10.5 out of frustration to replace my Surface Pro 4. Ppl say Apple is overprice but at least their quality is good unlike this Surface.Due to defective product, additional 2++k charge is totally a harsh joke from microsoft |

I remember refurbish warranty is 3 months warranty only. Mine also was having the flicker problem and the solution is to pay Rm2k to replace with a refurbish set which the flicker will happen again just a matter of time.

Not that hard to trigger a flicker. Just use some application to heat up the screen and it will start jumping wildly.
