you can now head off to ebay to buy these things

1) miracast dongle, pick the cheapest one
2) female hdmi to female hdmi
3) hdmi to vga+audio cable (buy from lelong, cheapest), or buy from ebay, use non-powered one.

SP3 miracast > wireless dongle > vga converter > projector

you can now do wireless presentation with any vga screen or projector.

try to pair the pen again. open the bluetooth in surface...when it is searching, hold the top button 7 seconds until it is recognized by your surface.

My plan
1. Use Bluetooth headset with mic to connect to SP3.
2. In SP3 audio setting, set headset to microphone mode.
3. miracast SP3 to VGA screen, and to classroom sound system
4. voila, now the sound system amplifies my voice as I speak

using 64gb i3 model, and because storage too small, i use external hdd 3.0 version, ezvid.

Quality video superb, play it at 720p ya.

In the meantime, bro's miracast technology works in classroom flawlessly =D these are what you need

1) EzCast dongle. Get it around RM80 from 11street.my
2) hdmi female to hdmi female converter, go buy from ebay.
3) hdmi to vga cable, go buy from lelong RM20+RM10 shipping, or if you're willing to wait, go ebay buy.

in the mean time...

for sd card, recommend samsung evo due to its higher random 4k read/write speed. can opt for 64gb if 128gb is too costly.

u want vga converter for what? if you mean using dongle to display via vga output...can...

dongle -> sambung hdmi female 2 hdmi female --> sambung hdmi/vga converter = win

dongle get power using separate usb port.
