I using this AIO water cooler for my i5 3570k @ 4.1ghz.
but this pump whining really damn loud.
any sifus can give me suggestion/solution to solve it?

this is how i setup the cooler.
1. water pump cable (3pin, no PWM), plugged into CPU fan, set to 99% fan speed for 100% pump level.
2. fan stick with the radiator plugged to chassis fan1, custom fan speed. (very low noise at idle, realtemp show 35c).

can confirm the noise are come out from the pump, not clicking sound (no air bubble inside), it was a static high pitch whining sound.
should i RMA it or this is normal?

PSU - Corsair RM850.
mobo - Z77m asus

It's run 100% speed, of coz it's whining out loud. Try adjust the pump speed curve accordingly to temp....I think all P8Z77-M fan header can control the speed using Fan Xpert+ software even for 3-pin connector...

The seidon 120m instruction was mentioned must set it to 100% to ensure the liquid flow smoothly. (and also tom's, youtube review)
I had tried to adjust it in curved line with Asus fan Xpert+, but the clicking sound will come out and high pitch whining sound still exist with same noise level. sad.gif

thanks your help.

Does it make clicking noise??thats mean got bubble on ur pump..try disconnect the pump from cpu and shake it, if still can hear the sound try on ur cpu without connected the pump and shake the pump while its running like 5 minute(caution with hot cpu, recommended to plug in the stock cooler)

If u still hear the clicking noise, then just RMA it..thats why i dont recommended people to buy cheap closed loop AIO. Better go for noctua or be quite and u dont hear any annoying noise..just my 2cent

Look like not the fan noise, I had tried remove the fan power but pump noise still exist.
I believe it should have the noise on pump for water flow to radiator, just quite loud bcoz pc was in my bedroom.

my rig all works quietly except this water cooler.
gonna change to noctua soon, have very good review tho.
