You got install other browser other than Edge?
Or when you click link and its open link at Edge.
Cause Windows 10 by default open any URL using Edge.

Another is you don't have Internet connection?

I have posted a (possibly) working solution that has fixed users with this issue at the main Windows 10 thread, I'll just drop by and place the solution here. Hope it works!

Press Windows key + X, select command prompt (admin)
type and enter these inputs into the console:
netsh winsock reset

Restart your PC. Your programs that require network connections should be working now smile.gif

You re-download? Microsoft didnt reserved it for you? I dont have to download anything,
once the Windows 10 are ready i just click agree and it setup by its own. it took me around
+/- 30 minutes to settle everything else. Btw, im using TIMEdotcom 100mbps package.

No problem on my machine too, but wondering, have any of you install it from scratch or just upgrade? If we were to install it from start (fresh), will we able to use our Win7 key?

hmm.gif my guess is you can't get to install win 10 using win 7 code... u can do that by upgrading to windows 10 first, get the license code n then do a fresh install again

If you are running Pentium G3258 on non-Z board. You might have issues. I can confirm installing Windows 10 with G3258 all cores enabled will freeze on boot.

You can not use win 7 key to install win 10.
You need to perform an upgrade first.

If you reboot what happens?

Or you can try download the iso instead, and do the upgrade manually.

Yes.
Upgrade and make sure the win 10 is activated. Then you can do the clean install/format.
Next time you connect to the internet, the newly installed win 10 should be activated.

But another notificcation pops out (from windows update) ask me to download windows 10. Press start download. The bar keep moving only . No percentage nothing. ....Now I try to download the tools from windows see can upgrade to windows 10 or not

Never had such problems, suggest you re install Office, if you are using 365 it is very easy. All the settings emails etc will still be there.
