QUOTE(andy @ Feb 15 2007, 12:33 AM)
think of it this way, I have heard about two types of crashes before from the people involved. one is with a MHR fullface unknown model and another with an Arai Astro J. MHR guy gets bumped from the left by a Kancil, drops and slides about 100 meter and suffered road rash on his face but no scars, the whole front broken into bits.

Arai case, accidentally highside at a traffic light junction during mid day traffic, car almost run into him and 1 tonne LORRY ran OVER his helmet with his face pointing down to the ground. damage was severe, but he also only suffered road rash because his cheeks were pushed out of the helmet opening after the visor broke.

whats your opinion? MHR quite good quality one also you know.

edit: just checked with the guy, the lorry didnt run over his helmet, the tyre of the lorry sort of rammed into his helmet and dragged it for about 100 meters, but thats still quite bad yeah? and he can still get up and confront the lorry driver also! laugh.gif
*
the arai case was super horror! im imagining myself now......which is good nor bad?..hummm both are good, both did their job,the next thing otr...wear helmets & secured..dont loosen it doh.gif shakehead.gif

I already change my rims to sport rim. Using tubeless for front tyre (Duro 70/90) rear Dunlop TT900 (tube- the shop fellow in melaka tipu me said its tubeless) 80/90. Then i change rear sprocket to saiz 34 from stock 36. But got no improvement. I thought lagenda can easly do 120km (bike speedo) but mine even in highway cant reach. When going down hill only can reach. That also the engine start vibrating like hell. hmm.gif rclxub.gif

lolz down hill can reach....mine current sprocket are 34 & 15...the last time was bigger but gud pickup...this time normal pickup..but when longer ride..more speed gained rclxub.gif

Added on March 22, 2007, 12:29 pm
clutch speed spring- whats that ? its inside the engine is it. i did change sprocket but air intake the formen he adjust but still no improvement. How about racing filter. Which brand for lagenda and price.

from what i know...its inside the engine...tighten the spring will result a better respon...its like gear ratio adjustment...its like tongue.gif

correct me if im wrong

Which road/place did the pancit happen?
Nowadays roads in KL are full with nails and aluminum shards.
My bike tubeless also kena puncture  last week.

Should start a list which roads very common tire puncture area so that motorcylist will be carefull when using the road/area.
*
1.Federal Highway - before exit to Hospital Universiti
2.KTM Building/National Mosque roundabout (favourite puncture spot)

most roads in kl are filled with potholes

Is it rm80-150 per rim? Will check it out tomorrow. Hope it does not look funny if put on my EX5 Class 1??  hmm.gif  tongue.gif
Bkt. Mertajam > Penang Bridge > Bayan Lepas FIZ area.
Everyday got peoples puncture their tires.
Last month when puncture cause by nail at Penang Bridge at 8am rush hour... that's really make me sweat  sweat.gif
If i panic and lost control of my bike that time... i think die already worr. And the bloody "express" mechanic already behind me when it happens.

varieties of rims to choose...even LCs not original also got..1 thing..most rims i adored are compatible with Honda n Yamaha...less for kriss tongue.gif
