I just registered last fm. Is it possible to select an artist and just let the songs from the band play continuous? Or only can listen 1 song and need search and ply again for every song?

Spotify is the better app for that. I use Lastfm more for recommendations.

Mainly metal and rock stuff but I also go into pop ballad and classic stuff that play in light fm. New stuff metal very difficult get my attention then go back old school stuff like Metallica soulfly and fear factory once in a while.

Sometimes Japanese metal. Quite random also my music. But recently just can't find any good stuff then go for piano melody.

Old school metal? Try Demiricous, Demolition Hammer, Warbringer, Sepultura, Pantera... they're around death metal, thrash metal stuffs, could suit you.

You need to challenge your listening habit. Try Meshuggah then Mariah Carey then Merzbow and back to MLTR. It's never boring, just some ugh's (terrible ones) and ahh's (heavenly ones) whistling.gif

As a musician I'm sure u guys also like me can't live a day without music whether in car or work or home. For me I work office so usually put on my earphone when working either from YouTube or own playlist.

But sometimes will happen to me that I get too much music that for a period I will get sick and uninterested in any song. Listening just dun make me hype.

Got happen to u guys or is it I not have enough passion?

I never stop listening to music since the radio and walkman days. But my tastes differ every so often, long periods of listening to metal, modern rock, classic rock, blues, post rock, indie pop, ambience, etc etc. changed my playlist weekly for the jog/commuting purposes, if i have the time on offdays scour the youtube channels for new songs to feed my listening needs. I think if i stick with one genre my whole life i woulda have the same kind of hiatus you're having too.

Diversify. I was listening to almost only metal, then wanted to try something new, went to jazz and classical. Still playing metal a lot, but at least get some variations.

Same la, I started out with classical guitar too. Then got bored because not getting any attention, so played metal during my zaman darah muda. Then wanted more technical stuff, yeah did gave necrophagist a try, but I guess sometimes it's good to go back to your roots.

but it was a bitch trying to find a new decent tape player in stores...and not those stupid ones they sell in giant/tesco.
