sorry for bringing up old thread, but is it possible?  blush.gif

Yes, definitely possible...

btw I just made a Dallas Rangemaster...it's a treble booster which uses a vintage germanium transistor, kinda smooths out the highs. Eric Clapton used one of these if I'm not mistaken.

Finally completed one...total time used around 2 hours+

Works nicely except for the fuzz effect which doesn't work - not gonna bother with that since you need to use 3v instead of 9v.

Pictured below with 2x 3.5" chapalang 6w TV speakers

Sounds great on single notes...but sucks on chords due to speaker size/wattage (distorted sound). Probably will swap a Celestion Greenback into it laugh.gif

that doesnt look like its gonna fit in an eclipse mint box tongue.gif
*
Well the micro-micro 2x 3.5" cab won't fit of course, but the amp will biggrin.gif

As for the mini-cab...just stick it into a groupie's handbag tongue.gif

p/s not recommended to use a ciggy box as a casing for the amp as the IC gets quite hot, potential fire hazard

oh btw, plugging the output into another amp will make it go to 21

see, thats why ppl spend more time on it tongue.gif

fuzz effect can be done using 9V and also stuck in a ciggy box.

Bah, you should've posted this first instead mad.gif

Anyone interested in buying? Feel like selling it off...cause went overboard with some purchases.

Upcoming projects would be a fuzz face/tone bender pedal...and something special whistling.gif

lol tongue.gif

you didnt ask, and actually i did post it awhile back.
i also have a similar circuit diagram for it somewhere.

Eh I was just joking only laaaa tongue.gif

Btw I found another amp schematic...with volume/tone/gain/"grit" controls brows.gif Definitely not as compact as the smokey amp, but much more formidable...size-wise, a MXR stompbox casing will do nicely.
