Agree with sai86.

I have been using the original Xbox 360 controller (wired) for a very long time (ie. more than 5 years)

I like that look. Sorta of camouflage.

I will probably go with black since all my peripherals are black.

I have just ordered two Xbox One controllers for my PC over here.

Looking forward to try it out and I will be bringing back the old Xbox 360 controllers to Malaysia.

It's probably XBone controller and not for PC. Controllers compatible for PC would specify that it is Windows compatible.
*
I thought as long as you have the wireless adaptor / wire for PC, you can use any Xbox One controller.

Similar to Xbox 360 era.

That's what I thought too but apparently, there are controllers that are specifically for Windows. My past controllers are marked Xbox 360 controller for Windows. I can't say the same for Xbox one but it could be the same.

Can anyone confirm?

I have bought wired version of the Xbox 360 controllers specifically for Xbox and was able to use it on Windows.

my xb1 is from XB and it works on PC with plug and play on window 10 smile.gif

saw a store here selling the wireless stick for  SGD$36 bucks. gonna get it someday.

Sounds reasonable.

I got that, pretty much plug and play.

I am trying to replace all my peripherals with their wireless version.

hahaha. don't worry too much. most of the micro usb cable in the market has charge+data transfer. only cheapo one like from Daiso work as charging only.
micro usb cable won't cost you more than Rm20 anyway  laugh.gif

I was not aware of this.

This is indeed helpful.

Thank you.

hai all...some gaming store just restock their xbox1 with wireless adapter around 279 if im not mistaken..

just wanna ask yall opinion, is it relevant to buy it now? shud i buy the xbox360 version or shud i wait the new xbox one S controller
*
I have both Xbox 360 version and Xbox one controller.

I suggest go straight to Xbox one controller, not sure what will be the difference between New Xbox one S controller and the existing Xbox one controller (as it looks the same to me).

If you really want the best of class, go straight for the Elite Xbox one Controller manufactured by Microsoft.

The new one xbox one s controller can connect to pc via bluetooth without need adapter..still contemplating..lolol

Ah, that makes sense.

Perhaps it would be cheaper also coz the adapter itself is already RM100 plus.

My Xbox One controller had an issue. The left shoulder button got stucked.

I removed the casing and use the screwdriver to pop it back up.

I am going to do the same for my Razer Serval later as it is also stucked.

Hi all... pretty new to this... I have Xbox 360.... can I use that controller from 360 on my pc? What do I need to buy to make it work?

Thanks!
*
Wired or wireless?

You need to get an adapter for wireless.

For wired, should be just plug and play.

Hi bro, do u using adapter or third party Bluetooth??
*
I am using the official adapter from Microsoft for PC.

Seems to work quite well.

How is the steam controller compared to xbone's?
Steam controller can be wired?
*
Steam controller is interesting but most games are configured for Xbox One / Xbox 360 controllers.

The Steam controller can be used with wire. The wire is included.

Nah, I didn't buy this. I bought the original version for Xbox One controllers.

Amazon, yes. Microsoft Store USA, no. That one you'll have to use forwarding service like Borderlinx.

Just curious, given that the collector's Xbox gamepads you have, are you using them or they are more for display?

Looks too nice to use. As such, I usually stick with the plain looking ones.
