Finally was able to fill up ASB2 which was launched last year

now im running out of places to put my money.


Property market is slow...not many good subsale in the market.

Equity/Debt market my current employer makes my life very hard to enter, many many many permissions needed to buy/sell shares

Variable priced unit trust, KLCI got a chance to tank even further. not sure if i should go anyways.

FD rate cipot.

Ask special permission from ASNB to buy more ASB, they can consider. Normally can.

my ASB they say limit at 400k cuz thats 200k principle and 200k dividends. and they cant add it anymore

my employer makes it insanely difficult to enter directly in the equity market. need to ask permission from CEO, CIO, and risk office. which takes 21 days. need to note that every single transaction and time. need to note the nosh, price, and total. need to declare everything.

So whatever shares i have when i join the company, i havent buy/sell anything.

so being lazy, i just go ASB.

I dont know how real prosedure. But just go direct to ASNB branch & tell yr problem.
It can bcoz some family members save >500k (my family sell land for 7million then divide among members).

Tabung haji also good. 100% confirm halal not like ASB.

Its only haram if you are opposition states (Selangor, Penang) as their state fatwa says its haram.

badan fatwa negeri penang and selangor says ASB is haram. There was another negeri if im not mistaken. I guess fatwa negeri penang/selangor, their role is to oppose the government. so they just say its haram lo since fatwa kebangsaan say its harus.

but fatwa kebangsaan says its harus. but i dont mind


Personally i think Maybank is harus too. so i have no problem ASB having large shareholding in Maybank.
