Basic 60,000km service, expect to pay about RM900. Please note that most (if not all) service centers may tell you that your brake pads need to be changed, brake discs needs to be changed, etc - you need to know your car, and know if these really need to be replaced or not. 60k service should include a battery check so you'll know if it needs to be replaced (if it does, there are much cheaper alternatives outside, and will not void your warranty).

More often than not, the speed sensor does not need to be replaced; simply cleaned. Most workshops can do that for you to, at little cost. You may want to google and read up about it, as this is a fairly common issue.

Generally how long does the battery for VW cars last?
For my B7 passat, 1st and 2nd battery lasted few mths short of 2 years. Both are Varta batteries
