I missed out on this one, stock clearance for Jetta and Passat You will need to wait long long time. at least 3-4 years with abit of luck.... subject to stock availability too....... the last time I know about this kind of discount was around 2007 or 2008. pay attention on Paultan. Alot of people knew about discount from there This post has been edited by strguy: May 4 2016, 02:41 PM

Hi Volkswagen Sifu, I just got my Jetta a couple of days ago...... I would like to ask you guys how you all manage your DSG gearbox or how is your way of doing it to prevent mechatronic failure beside the way I found from my research. Any reply would be appreciated.
So far based on my research on it, especially the DQ200 dry clutch, apparently the reason is due to the constant start stop while driving on traffic jam. the constant gear shifting that cause the temperature buildup which makes the electrical wiring in the mechatronic malfunction. the prevention is to enter manual mode or S mode while driving in traffic jam. It also highly recommended to switch to N mode while in traffic lights. Apart from these I don't really find anything new.
