haha but i think ttdi one is nearer than sg besi ...
yeah the cergaz autohaus, their so called technical 3s centers
*
True, but Hartamas even more so, since I live like 10 mins away. Anyway I don't have to worry about servicing for another 13k km or 11 months, but it's good to know there's an SC just a stone's throw away.

hmm there should be more sc being set up soon ...

went to the ttdi branch on monday, wanted them to check on my squeaking door, said full for the day, made appointment for wednesday tomoro 9am

hate it when its small issue for them to check on, and they make you stay for a day or so
*
Oh that reminds me, I do have to visit an SC. My left door is a little hard to open from the outside. It's like the handle is stuck or something, needs a harder than usual tug.

Hi there and sorry for what happened to your car. For the price, I'm not very sure. But based on the picture, your rear bumper looks dented only (I may be wrong but I don't see any cracks), so probably some knocking and repainting would fix it, and definitely it'll be cheaper than getting another new rear bumper.

If you're in K.L, you may visit MPower at Cheras. And no, fixing your rear bumper outside SC does not void your warranty. Cheers! biggrin.gif
*
I am in KL. Thanks man!

why MPower though fam? They specialise in VW's? Cheras a bit far from where I live only that's why askin, but I'd visit them no prob.

FA Wagen? Nightmare to me... bruce.gif

Hahaha I bought my car from FA Wagen. Haven't gone for 1st service yet. Reading up on places to go to. 10.4k mileage already .

There really isn't any particular outstanding SCs, judging from owner's comments, as everyone has got a bad experience even at recommended ones like Cergaz, Wing Hin, Swire Puchong.

Plan to go to WingHin balakong, anyone have experience claiming insurance and used their body n paint service?
*
How's your claims and accident repair bro? You went ahead with WingHin? I met with an accident recently and I'm thinking of which SC to go to.

Look for a gal named Darshini, she handles accident claims cases. Very helpful and efficient. In all, my repair with them went smooth. Great workmanship too on spray-painting.
*
Will try contacting Darshini. I see you got your car repaired in a few days. But you didn't drop it off at the SC? Adjuster didn't need need to take a look at it?

Here's my damage lol fml

i have polo hb 1.6.
Last week have my 30k maintenance, and it cost me RM1400.
I did it at VW SC sri hartamas.
Is it normal?
because i have read somewhere stated that it will only cost u arounf 1k. ='D
*
Ahh I've been wondering who here goes to the Hartamas one, since no one ever mentions it. It's the closest to where I live , but anyway idk but that kinda sounds expensive

guys, is it wise to provide my vehicle's VIN number to an OEM parts dealer?

I need a replacement for one of my lights that broke and though the car is under warranty, I didn't want to go to an SC because it could be costly, i'll use an OEM lamp but replace the bulbs inside with the ones presently from my car.

So they've asked for my VIN number (in case they got the wrong part) and I thought maybe that isn't a good idea, but i'd like to know what you think?

Cheers.

any one know a good place I could get OEM tail light for a 2016 VW Polo hatchback.

Need to replace one of my tail lights that broke, still under warranty though but i just hope the SC doesn't realise when i send for service.

Mudah doesn't seem to have any for my car model. I think they would go for around RM200 each or so? Not sure what an SC would charge. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
