Actually the basic 38 plan is good for people who use less internet and have wifi at office or unifi at home. In the first place the basic 38 already have  200% more internet than its original quota. When the plan is furst introduce, it comes with 1Gb internet only. During promo they bump up the quota for those register during the promo period from 1GB to 3GB internet. Plus can carry forward full 3GB quota if cannot finish.

But of course the current first gold, first gold plus looks tempting. But if we do not utilise that much, will end up oaying too much or paying extra than what we actually need 😁😁😁

Celcom first gold plan is unlimited wifi plus.

I tried it once and it was really slow, to the point almost unusable. Even after my 3gb was used, it is still loading quite fast for image-less site like lyn forum.

My package was upgraded today from RM38 package to RM45 package . 5GB + 5 GB , no carry over unused internet. Weekend internet given in 1.25 GB packages each week. Call 1111 when a sms  invitation from celcom comes in.

No mention of LTE. You can try the upgrade by calling 1111. Celcom center definitely cannot upgrade, tried already.Can only downgrade to 2+2, Gila!

50 min + 50 sms, no change. Celcom + unlimited wifi hotspot

last week

> ask login from 1111 - have to reset via 22188

> send "wifi password" - get password

> logon to celcom wifi - not subscribed to

> send "on wifi" - welcome to celcom wifi

> logon to celcom wifi - not subscribed to

> send "wifi status" - you are not subscribed to
I gave up.

I got a call from Celcom too, but being told I still would have to wait for the sms for the upgrade to RM45 5+5 package. Gonna port out if I didn't, thats for sure.

1st call wait 6 minutes, got disconnected
2nd call ask to wait 12 minutes

done change after 6th call juz now 

no more carry forward feature.. yes...divided into 4 weekends..

call 1111 and talk to customer service.. basically they will help u to log the upgrading ticket and u will get the upgrade within 24 hours.. else, call back to them..
will charge current RM38 and RM45 plan.. if you are okay, they will proceed for u..

cant just applied the upgrade for next month?

my one last day is 27/11/16 only 4 days (still have 6gb = 3gb carry forward) more i have to pay RM38 to upgrade to RM45 and today onward i got RM 5gb + 5gb ?

I received 2nd SMS for this upgrade offer. Will finish my quota before upgrade.

Hi can you tell me what is the content of celcom sms for upgrade? Is it unique? Haven't received any from  celcom sadly
