Hey guys, may i know why most of the pupil prefer hatch over sedan as sdan has more space in terms of boot capacity and can say is safer when in rear end collision? Is there a difference o ride and handling between sedan and hatch?

BTW I do hope Ford MY has intention to bring in the 1.0 ecoboost in sedan form which is much more practical.
*
Because the hatch looks better, and in terms of boot space the hatch is more flexible albeit smaller than sedan. For example, You can't fit a washing machine into a sedan no matter what.

Hatchbacks typically have reinforced rear structures.

But ultimately it boils down to your personal preference.

QUOTE(iamwilliamcwl @ Nov 4 2015, 01:41 AM)
Means all the Ford car also have bad resale value? But actually I don't care much about it la, just afraid like my Focus have hard time to find dealer to accept my car

Alright

No haven't, I'll contact them and see whether they can fix my problem

Thanks for the information man biggrin.gif
Anyone I found this ad on carlist, selling Ford Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost for RM74,500. Am I correct? lol
http://www.carlist.my/new-cars/2252371/201...-approval-.html

Does the price include insurance, registration etc. All misc fees?

Anyway, if you trade in your Focus at a Ford dealership for a new Fiesta, they should be able to find a used car dealer that will take your Focus. But brace yourself for the valuation lah.

QUOTE(JunJun04035 @ Nov 4 2015, 02:06 AM)
Nope, hatch definitely have more boot space.
Fiesta Sedan has roughly 370 litre of boot space, while Hatchback have 425 litre.
If the rear seat being laid down, that increases to around 710 litres.
HB also fit most odd sized and shaped object, due to the size of the opening (boot vs hatch)

Safety wise, I don't think the boot is qualified as an "extra" crumple zone
*
Fiesta hatchback has 276 liters of bootspace, and 974 liters with seats folded down.

Sedan has 471 liters.

Edited my post on the lights. Mistaken dares mia statement last time. However I still think only the Ecoboost has the feature, because I've braked from 110-0 and it didn't happen for me. Mind you I braked pedal to the floor until got screeching sound (assuming it's skidding)

You have to try harder.
Screeching means your tires still have grip with the road.
Mine just a normal 1.5 sedan.

it works on my car several time.

was driving at highway. 160-180. got car went to fast lane at slower pace.
i emergency brake until ABS kick in.

then the hazard light will turn on. sweat.gif

I just read comment again, haven't include insurance and I tried to message the fella no reply mad.gif

Prepared for it cry.gif

----------

I have few more question would like to ask all the sifu at here

What issues Fiesta have other than jerking at low speed? How can I test it when I go test drive?

Fiesta doesn't come with reverse camera right? Can I install it later? or there is no way to replace the tiny screen on Fiesta?

And is there any think I should consider before buying Fiesta?

Most of Fiesta problems are related to the gearbox. Most common one being the clutch that jerks and judder at low speeds. More rare would be TCM failure. Even more rare would be outright transmission failure.

If you wanna try the jerk and juddering, try driving up an uphill slope that has a road bump on it.

Jerks and judder at low speeds will always be there. Question is how serious je.

You can install those reverse cam that comes with their own screen, either standalone or integrated into a rear view mirror. But you might affect the electrical warranty.

Cannot tweak/tune the BCM module so its easier to activate?
