My GSSR curse remains. Previous two both gave me original Saber dupe. Now the current one gave me original Jeanne dupe. Oh well, it was a 50-50 chance to get Jack, I knew it was risky, but still why can't I ever get lucky with GSSR.

I was on a long holiday break so I didn't farm much. Yesterday, I managed to get Musashi in my Alt Acc. But, I didn't get her in my Main Acc so a bit salty when 300 quartz & 20 tix wasted. I probably going to skip this new year GSSR banner and looking forward for the Anniversary GSSR banner.

Hope you got some random SSR with that 300 sq. I got 3 emiya archer, 1 nitocris, 1 caster gil and 1 uncle vlad berserker

Am thinking of starting on this, am a bit late to the game so am wondering if it's still worth while.

how's the player base? still many folks active?

It is still active. Like, very. Though this game doesn't have co op or pvp, So you only play on your own.
If you start now, you missed 2 freebies servants already. But it is not that bad.

But the most important part is, are you ready for the salt when you failed to pull your favourite Servant?
This game has the worst drop rate ever for gacha games. Though you still can beat the game with low rarity servants.
Just need abit more work with team composition.

Thanks for getting back to me, grinz have been playing other gacha games so I guess I can deal with it.

Btw, if you really want to start this game for real, I suggest you to reroll your tutorial summon till you get Heracles as your first
4* servant. He is the best 4* Berserker so he will help you alot from early game till the latest chapter as well. Eventhough rerolling
for him will takes some time, i think it will be a good investment.

Fate franchise is currently at it's peak (Top 10 grossing at US Play Store and Apple App Store) so the playerbase is huge and active.

If you're joining NA or JP server now it's the chance since Start Dash campaign give a lot of freebies to newcomer, and since Guranteed banner is still ongoing, so purchased 30SQ on NA can give you a 5 star servant , purchased 15SQ on JP can give you a limited 5 star servant.

It's easier to join NA after they added a lot of QoL changes to it. NA also fixed things that was flawed in JP. A lot of desirable characters will be up on rate-up.

Joining JP now is harder (although faster since all storyline AP have been slashed 1/4) since alot of events are story-locked so you gotta keep up to date. It's still doable to keep up since I have an alt account that does nothing except progressing into the story missions with low stars, and do daily farming to gather materials for servant ascension.

In short NA is the global "alpha" server despite being 2 years behind JP "beta-test" first server.

Just finished my first 10x summon and the 4* heroes I got are Marie and Stheno.

Guess it's times to reroll.
