I have heard and read about the many drawbacks / negative remarks regarding vacation clubs, and myself fell to their sales pitch a few years back. I signed up to swiss garden vacation club, but luckily, thanks to your thread in "vacation club - experiences", I cancelled within their cooling off period. Phew...

However, over the past 2 years, a friend of mine who is a member of PVC has been boasting regarding his club. So much so, that it got me interested. However, afraid that he may be plain lucky with his reservations, I would like to search for member reviews on the net.

Surprisingly, I did not get much review be it good nor bad, unlike some other clubs (especially berjaya and swiss garden). I couldn't even find many members selling their membership online.

Hence I am turning to you again to ask, is there any member of Palace Vacation Club here? If there is, can I humbly ask your experiences throughout your membership years? Your replies are greatly appreciated.

Not much I can tell coz I'm not really active in using their services. Maybe coz I don't really have time for holidays. But I can see that they have added some more hotels for international vacation from time to time. But for booking they advice to plan early, better plan for one year booking.

I guess most timeshares are like that. we can't expect much if we do last minute bookings.
However, I guess what makes a timeshare better than the other, apart from their selection of accommodations, is their customer service. I heard that PVC customer service is ok. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

on customer service I got mix experience, some time ok other time quite slow. Another advantage I guess is you can lock your budget for hotels... coz the room rate will increase year by year.

Their customer service is ok for my experience, but their website is not up to date; the latest resorts list is not there; member menu always under maintenance...

My husband has been the member since 2001. Our experience with them so far so good. Of course is not easy to get reservations during peak season on hotels near tourist " hot spot " like Genting, Cameron, Langkawi...,

However, we managed to get last minutes booking ( less than a week ) on PGH.

We are planning to sell it if anyone is interested; we found it very difficult to arrange for family holiday now ; everyone have different work/ holiday schedule, make it hard to gather all for family trip.

How much is the admin fees or processing fees to proceed your booking every time you make?

I realise that this thread started long ago. But just sharing, my experience with them (PVC) is bad. Was cheated by their sales agent who has since resigned, and attempts to contact their Management has been extremely difficult. Based on the way PVC is handling my complaint, they are very unprofessional in my view.

I have signed up the palace vacation club last 2 days.. is that a cooling period of 10days? I wish to cancel the membership.. is it possible? Can someone guide me? Anyone know their official email address?
