LOL. Yea it does in certain ways. If your taking pictures or doing penetration its useful.

I know this diver that loves this position specially when taking picture.  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

I do it to irritate the DM sometimes. And I get a kick out of laughing to myself..how ridiculous it looks.

Why it comes naturally munleyflo?
*
Haha. Why will the DM be irritated ah?

I also dunno. I never realize I did it so often until photos and videos of me doing so were brought to my attention lol.

I just enjoy the zero gravity feeling and let the body position itself naturally when I relax. laugh.gif

There's no way to cover diving in Sabah in one trip. Unless your one trip is like at least a month long.

Dear Divers, finally got my AOW. I plan to invest in
1. a pair of fins,
2. mask google (with corrective glasses bcs of my myopia), and
3. BCD
Do you hav any recommended shops in KL tat offers reasonable prices?
TQ
*
Go for mask and fins first. List of dive shops on first post of thread.

BCD can keep for later purchase. Many buy BCD last.

QUOTE(BubuTheStar @ Sep 14 2015, 09:57 AM)
Yea so that's why was wondering if i break up my trips to 4 days 3 nights each, which should i start with first..

I don't have AOW, but recently i did 2 separate modules i.e. wreck dive and deep water dive up to 28 m. My AOW will be completed in march thereabouts
*
First thing first, if got cheap flights to tawau, then just book first. Best if can do 5D4N. 4D3N a bit short if you ask me.

Next, wait for matta fair. Got cheap deals for the resort packages. There's no way you can stay on Sipadan island, you have to either be in Mabul or Semporna to dive Sipadan. Many resorts/home stays in Mabul. Semporna is cheaper but no nice beach. During matta fair or MIDE, can check the packages. Usually full board, include equipment and unlimited house reef dives. Sipadan is optional. Not all resorts can guarantee you a spot to Sipadan. (Even if got also they require you to stay 5D4N) So just go get a package to Mabul first. Sipadan later only decide.

I've dived Sipadan/Mabul twice so far. Celebes sea Pom Pom recently. Haven't been to TAR and KK that side yet. Maybe next year since MYR so jialat can't go overseas, so travel Borneo with MYR tongue.gif

You can go into Tioman during monsoon for surfing.
On good days, some do diving as well. Most chalets (those that I know are in Tekek) are open during monsoon season. Ferry times much much less frequent but it's not entirely closed off.

I'm looking for half-body wetsuit with long sleeve, diving boots and glove, entry level will do. Any idea? Thanks.
*
Half body long sleeves - can go for IST, Adrenaline or Gull. Or if you got the budget to spend - Sharkskin.
Diving boots - almost every dive shop got sell.
Glove - people hardly use it and some places don't encourage divers to wear gloves cause divers with gloves usually touch every damn thing since they are not afraid of stings/cuts anymore.

Have you check the first page for list of dive shops in klang valley yet?

Just to let you guys know, I was told that next month onwards, almost all the dive shops will increase their prices, by 15% or so. Because the suppliers are increasing the prices due to our awesome currency.

Looking for Dry bag AKA waterproof bag for diving. any brand to recommend? most of the dry bag that i saw online are from safebeat and hypergear, the most popular dry bag brand globally is adventure lion, does the brand play an important rule? or it doesnt really affect much on the quality?
*
Nah, just get a reasonably price one in your favorite color and design.

If you go to china websites, you'll see all sorts of cheap and colorful ones too. If you see the dry bags some of the PRCs are using, it's like plastic bags only. All serve the same purpose.
