Waiting for ti users to flood with vram swapping issues with w10.

I'm planning to upgrade to GTX 980 Ti.

I have only 1 question. What's the major difference between:
MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming
MSI GTX 980 Ti

I did some research, more on Ti Gaming. But I can't find any comparison for these 2 card and the price is quite big gap between them. From the official website, it only show that Ti Gaming have 3 OC profile. Any comment?

I hope that one of the partner would use Artic Cooling tri-fan cooler for both GTX1080 and GTX1070. However, I think I would have to wait for a few months for that (after the official release that is).

Last friday go to etech. they said AIB version for 1070 would be around RM2k to RM2.1k, FE would be RM2.3k to Rm2.4k

Now all that's left to wonder is how well the 1070 will actually OC. These reviews don't know jack about pushing the limits.

Good luck to 980Ti sellers though. Higher than 1070 price, no one will buy. Lower than 1070 price, you lose nearly 50% of the price on the 980Ti depending on model.

SLI for Maxwell has been utter shit.

I know first hand, went from dual 970 to a single 980Ti.
Guru3D didn't show the frame time after OCing. All they did show was avg.fps which means nothing.

which makes this gen is so worth it to upgrade~ 1440p 60fps is all I need.
question - Nvidia DSR works exactly the same as AMD VSR? Able to set desktop to higher resolution too?
cuz I'm using VSR to 1440p everything on my 1080p screen...

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's only mentioned in WCCFTech article. Other announcement didn't specify the price for 8GB version. Is it WCCF's assumption?

It seems like I will most likely getting 1070 OC ver instead of 1080 after reading the review. The dollar per performance of 1070 is much better than 1080. I can use the xtra funds to invest on my 2k monitor or use it in getting my PS4 Neo on Sep    

However, most likely I will not be doing SLI for it as I plan to make M-ATX form factor instead of ATX. I'm still struggling whether I should go for either one of these.

FE is with 8 pin power. As seen in Computex, no-FE versions are 6+8 pin for better stability for OC since non-FE will be with different levels of OC by the respective AIB

MSI released a $599 version of 1080. It's using reference PCB and blower style cooler. I think Galax made them too. So, there are 8-pins non-FE versions.
