Hey guys.
My GPU just dead, gotta go for a quick replacement within these few days!
Any recommendations with the budget of RM500 plus minus 10%.
Note that I do video editing, music editing, lightroom cc, and some games like PES, and Football Manager =)

Your PSU (Xigmatek NRP602) in ur siggy? If my 550w PSU can survive both an overclocked i5 and 970, then I think your 600w PSU will have no issue.

Well, you two got me!
I nearly forgot my siggy has my pc specs, considering that the siggy was last updated 6 years ago when i custom build my pc during my college time...!
Time flies! rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Anyway, any recommendations from u? biggrin.gif

Any users here are using Nvidia 750TI?
Care to share which aftermarket brands you guys are using perhaps?
ASUS? MSI? Gigabyte? Palit? EVGA? =)

Why not 950TI laugh.gif brows.gif

Budget constraint.
Dont feel like spending a mid range graphic card for my 6 years old computer!

I was using a 750TI from ASUS before upgrading to my current ASUS 970. New, it cost ~RM700. Search around the garage sale forum and you may get a used one for ~RM500 or less
*
How much did you sell your ASUS 750TI then?
Thanks anyway.

Has anyone experience losing their display signal?

I am using the 362.0 drivers at the moment with my 970.

At first u experience during full screen video playback, the just now while gaming. I can still hear the backgeound. But I have no display.

I tested with both hdmi and digital output and both have same problem.

Been reading a lot of similar problems on the net itself but no solution yet.

The only way I get back my display is shutdown with power button, switch off PSU, disconnect cable from GPU and reconnect and turn on.

If I were to restart without doing that. I still don't get back my display...

I feel you, this kind of experience doh.gif
By your description, it looks like the culprit is related to display, since the background sound can still be heard.
Try using a NEW video cable (HDMI/DVI) and see if problem persists? hmm.gif

best GPU to buy for March 2016

argh the 980TI way 2 tempting

so much budget to buy powerful graphics card!
And these days, its the worst time to buy, considering our much weaken depreciating ringgit compared to the USD.

Just bought Palit GTX750TI from lowyat for a reasonable price.
Decided to take a safe step, download the 362.00 driver instead of the newly WHQL 364.51...

Q2 2016 i believe.
