I hope NVIDIA comes out with a 6" card with the strength of 980Ti at low TDP.

hey guys

I'm on P45 board (ASUS Deluxe)

E8400 @ 3GHz | 4GB ram, all slots utilized | GTX760

I'm thinking to upgrade to Xeon E5450 proc. it only cost me around RM180.

is it ok to serve me another 2 years?
*
Upgrade to quad core will help.
I used to have a P45 board with E8400 at 3.6 GHz & AMD HD6850. The real bottleneck was the CPU, not GPU.

how bout the RAM? I didn't OC those although they are D9GMH chips.

Overclock it if your motherboard can support. brows.gif But you shouldn't expect a huge fps increase.
Since you're not upgrading to a new system, overclock is all you can do.

guys still worth to get the zotac gtx980ti black
2.7k?? with 5year waranty
*
The only reason I'm not buying it is the loud reference blower & insufficient cooling in the HOT malaysia. Else, I would grab it. Make sure your PSU is beefy enough.

Nvidia kicks out anybody who has a negative review on their products.

Known fact.

Payola is rampant everywhere.

Im also hunting, some shop says galaxy brand la, some shop said zotac la, none can confirm the brand. And for that price i will make sure i get a good brand i like before pulling the trigger
*
currently, any brand is the same because it's FE, not AIB custom version, which you'll have to wait longer.

Looks like the Artic Cooling GPU coolers can also be used for GTX1080 as confirmed in their website:

I will definitely get one in case I go with the reference version of GTX1080.

It's already tested.
