Depend to your choice of spec and color, I booked the GX-spec / Medium Silver.
Based on sales personnel's advise, the car shall be ready in two (2) weeks time, and the estimated arrival date is 22/Feb.

I did consider TRD / Pearl White, but the car will only be available in March (estimate four weeks delivery time).
Furthermore, the price difference between GX and TRD is RM3600 + Color RM8XX, which consider very expensive to me.

Apart from the above, I also upgraded the DVD-AVN (Navigation and Reverse Camera with Guide Lines) and Digital Video Recorder.
For your information, the default DVD-AVX with reverse camera does not have reverse guide lines, which seems incomplete and less practical.
However, it considers very expensive upgrade option.

The three (3) years service is includes labor and parts, which means zero maintenance for the first three (3) years.

Anyone install those to reduce the wind noise? Useful? New vios also can hear wind noise in highway.

Erm maybe you can check with your SA about the free 3 years service got quota limit or not? Like maybe you can claim max to 3k? 4K or more?,

hi guys wanna ask does 3rd gen vios have overheating issue?
currently there are only blue and red light as indicator (blue light always show up when start the engine, after few minutes the light indicator will gone). so far i haven't encounter the red light show up yet (touchwood).
my friend told me if the red light indicator show up means your car is overheating and it might cause harm to your car. his advice is to install car thermometer, at least it shows how many bars left from reaching overheating.
so what is your opinion?

Any new vios ownner has facing this problem, belt rewind sound ( sound like rewind cassette ) when turn the power steering and start to move ?

The sound mostly come out when your turn the car steering and start to move out from car park or when you start to move your car. the sound time flame is short and silent after this

The toyota service guy said is normal and i'm been inform that, all toyota vios got this issue. isn't ?

I don't think so 3rd gen Vios will have this issue, considering it's still a relatively new model (since 2013) and most owners have it for 4 years only.

Generally overheating only happens in cars over 10 years above.

A regular maintenance car should have no overheating problem.

Having said that, i think it's a good idea to install an analog meter to measure the heat.

My previous car have it, so after change to this one, i m a bit annoy to see only an indicator light.

at least you know before your car battery out of battery, better than only realize it when you can't start your car

Yes same to me... but after tat the sound will no more hear.

I stil cant get use to the CVT, everytime slow in 20km/h go over bumb or make a left/right turn. if no press pedal, it will likely like the gear is pulling ur call, like breaking. need to press pedal to make the car move.
