The problem with that is el Kapitan die2 wants to play, and modern formations = better to pack midfield and play a single striker.

Shaw or Blind at LWB, Darmian or Valencia at RWB. Width would come from them, but that's fine.

Playing Basti and Carrick together might be a bit of a risk since both are older/slower players. Rather pick 1 and pair him with Schneiderlin.

If AdM leaves then Young can play there. Depay can play across the 3 AM positions anyway.

I would not expect Depay to walk into the starting 11 immediately, unless injuries/suspension force it. More likely he will be eased in.
