QUOTE(minizian @ Jul 22 2015, 06:00 PM) Lol sorry my bad. Actually I felt like getting another gxr body to attach another Leica mount lens.. Like I did with epl5. I don't really like to change lens here and there. I think YL still got, go get it before too late U shd get the electronic viewfinder. Worth it Went to oly shop in mid valley... Surprised that they have alot of four thirds (not micro) lens for sale |

QUOTE(minizian @ Jul 25 2015, 11:58 PM) While my oly kit may be stagnent but i piling up alot on Nikon old lens and poor man leica (voigtlander) camera I am using Digi Cabi for 10 years now. Still working very well.By the way any brand of dry box is reliable for long them... Locally i see aipo, eureka and digi cabi. For some reason Aipo in shahinki have the best price around. While YL selling eureka and digicabi at higher premium... All i wanna know if these listed brand would last for very very long time. No where to ask so i ask here lo |

Anyone here using LM-M43 adapter? Any reliable brand to recommend?
The Fotga LM-M43 Adapter that I bought cannot do infinity focus. Sucks! This is taken by GXR + Voigtlander Nokton 40mm F1.4 IKEA POÄNG | Taken by Ricoh GXR Mount A12 + Voigtlander Nokton 40mm F1.4 MC by Philip Pang, on Flickr |

QUOTE(bobds78 @ Aug 5 2015, 11:18 AM) On the trimming part, be careful not to trim too much, always use a medium grid sandpaper for metal (dark color type) start at like 800 or 1000, then finally smoothing out with 2000 or higher. Hmm. Sound scary work to me. Haha. I am not DIY guy - place sandpaper on a 100% flat surface like a glass panel - grab the adapter on one side and place flat on the SP - don't press too hard but use even pressure and push back n forth for like 4-5 times, check to see its even - do the same on the other side Then smooth out, try it out, see if IF is achievable, if negative, reduce the number of strokes, and try again. Always make sure you smooth out before trying out. You don't want to scratch the mounting on the cam body or the lens. Good luck! But thanks for your advise. |

QUOTE(minizian @ Aug 5 2015, 08:33 PM) Used that.method once but I don like it.. So end up using the zoom in fn to make sure my photo in focus or not... That the only thing I dislike.. Wish oly implement peaking into first em5 The GXR focus assist mode is not as easy as Sony A7II. So nowadays using gxr with its The magnifying mode also not clear and make the focus not accurate. I need a lot more practice. Bringing my GXR and Voigtlander set to Finland next week. Let see what I manage to shoot. This post has been edited by philipcs: Aug 5 2015, 11:12 PM |
