PES feels to arcady for my liking.. FIFA series is more of a simulation.. PES doesnt have all the players names.. and commentary for FIFA is better.. and i'm a FIFA series fan since 1995

no lah. u still the master buaya lah... Ive been having my daily duel with Bighead. He trashed me during our last tourney long time ago. Now its like 60-40 when we play. Bighead is still master of CL.

I noticed a lot of players playing from the side and crossing the ball. nowadays I dont bother to follow the winger. Just pack as many people into the penalty box to increase my likelihood of getting the ball. Conventional maths say the probability of 5 defenders in the box against 2 strikers...I like my chances. But bighead, he master lah..he can use both (playing the flank and through the middle) equally as effective.

Ok picked up my copy of FIFA 08 just now. Only arrived in stores around 3pm. Can't wait to play it on Thurs. Hahaha .....

Oh yea and picked up PGR4 and The Orange Box also. And a copy of FIFA 08 for PS3.

Got my copy at 6 pm just now. Tried one game and I must say it takes a bit of getting used to. The gameplay is tougher and definitely more difficult to score a goal. Well, practice, practice & more practice!

An improvement from the demo. Demo was quite unplayable IMHO. Semi-pro mode is ok but Pro is definitely a challenge for me.

semi pro is ok but very hard to score goal la...
always "pang" here n there...
the keeper is too good even in amature mode...
you have to use some skill...
the graphics and game play is not as fast as the FIFA 07 already...
it is slower have to adjust to the pace now...
hope that i can get use to it...

In semi-pro mode, I managed to play MU and beat Inter 4-0. Scoring goals is manageable in semi-pro mode. I guess I will be playing this mode most of the time!

I must say, overall, a better game play as the game is more realistic and the pace of the game is about right and not being too arcade. Depends what you prefer, really. I'm happy with what I've experienced so far.
