There's one reputated to be good. It is a cafe above the Merrybrown Chicken ( in front of the bus station and just before the Tanah Rata police station ) in Tanah Rata. The place is called T-cafe. The entrance is from the staircase at the side of the Merrybrown Fried Chicken outlet. Smokehouse teatime is quite popular too albeit their services is a bit 'lansi'
Check out the comments by others on T-cafe. Ironically, I never tried it myself.

T - Cafe not too bad. Their scones are quite alright as well. The stairway to it can be slightly hidden. http://t-cafe.biz/page4.html
Shrugslova: But mainly I would suggest if you are driving, to plan your trips in a single path, to save time and petrol from having to go back and forth between Brinchang and Tanah Rata. Kea Farm and Boh Tea Farms are popular attractions if this is your first time going there.
Nvr fancy going to strawberry farms. If you have a friend who stays in Cameron and owns a vegetable farm, go there, its even better. You get to see scenes not accessible to many others.
Steamboats in CH are overrated. But the weather is cold for us KL folks, so its one of the more preferred choices to have. I did a 2D1N trip for my gf birthday. You can have a look at my planning from my blog if interested.
