QUOTE Hi there, oh god.... I took Senator Suite also during my last visit. Quite disappointed it. sad.gif Equatorial Cameron is not up to standard compared to other Equatorial Hotels. Reasons: 1)Senator suites furniture very very old 2)Bathroom with faulty tap, water stain marks in long bath 3)Sound of water (in pipe) 24 hrs, quite irritating 4)Unprofessional receptionist as i complained these matters and the reply i got (she has no control of this) 5)Requested Senator suite with balcony but didn't get it, although i confirmed my reservation about one month ago. The receptionist didn't even inform me about that until i find out myself 6)Bath towel were washed daily (i didn't ask to wash though) and only got it after calling house keeping. Note: I made my complaint using the Feedback form but yet to receive any reply from Equatorial. its too late isn't it... hmm... u mean some of the suite comes with balcony?? hmm... i should have call up and asked... btw, i read on the website that senator suite come with PREMIUM room amenities... how premium is that??? |

ooh.. i stayed in Smokehouse before....
very super expensive... RM 400++ per night... nothing to shout about. food was extremely expensive.. not very nice... Room was ok ok only.. old old dressing table, small small tv... bed with creaking sound.. ahahhaah!!! definitely not worth for RM 400... but the surrounding are nice... quiet... cold... not too far from town... |

well, if i am not mistaken, Lakehouse is associated with Smokehouse.
i stayed in Smokehouse before and i think its better to stay in Equatorial with the Price and all... Equatorial is nothing to rave about also la. its just that there is not much choices up there. i don't think u will have a problem with modified super LOW car. the road are winding.. not much bump. if u do not have a problem going to Genting, Cameron also shouldn't be a problem!! |
