Just scan through over 30 pages of posts in this thread, and come out with following plan for end of this month:
1) Book 1 night from Heritage Hotel for 26th Dec.
2) If necessary then only stay in KRS Pine Guest House for next one or two days on ad-hoc basis.
3) Travel from KL to CH by bus (perhaps Kurnia Bistari/Damai Express)

I have few doubts here:
1) Is there any ATM machines at CH? Just in case need cash on weekends or public holidays...
2) Will those bus services available on ad-hoc basis from CH to KL? Or will I be able to get bus ticket for this direction while I am there?
3) I don't have a credit card. Can I book room without credit card? Or is it a must to pay first while booking but not during check-in/out?
4) One forumer mentioned that KRS Pine Guest House normally will have rooms available even on peak season/public holidays. Do you think it'll be ok if I decide to stay there without prior booking?
5) Base on one of the provided link, KRS has following room: double room - single, double room - double, double room - twin, all costing $90. Anybody know what are the differences?

Thanks for the info, stimix and mylo30. Sure will check with the hotels But then might have problem to book/get the bus ticket in advance as I'm not in KL
