Ok, the guy hasnt returned it to me yet. I harassed him enough for him to meet up with me. Could tell he was scared from the tone of his voice when talking to me. He brought along a friend. Said to meet in front of INTI subang, dont have to find for parking, meet him at the entrance.

Went with a friend to Bentley before meeting up with him. Met him at 7 something, he was waiting there. Gave me a ds-1 box (mine, I put the dd-3 in it when I lend it to him). Cars were waiting behind, so I went off. My friend opened the box (this was just around 10 metres away, before starbucks even) and guess what? He gave me a different pedal! >.< . The two of them were already gone by then.

Called him, sms etc didnt pick up/reply. The usual.

This was last friday. I smsed him late that night, asking him to explain himself. The next morning he told me online that the soundman for that Justea thing mistaken my pedal for another guitarist's. So now its with that other guitarist.

Im giving him the benefit of the doubt here. But then again I dont trust him. I think its probably gone by now. Either way, no point in feeling pissed. Its not like it helps. There might be some hope of getting it back if what he said was true.

He didnt even bother to check the pedal before giving it to me. Not to mention checking it during the show he played in (if what he told me was true in the first place).

Yea i know his stories are pure bs. But then again, I cant do anything. Some beat up pedal was in the box. Feedback distortion or something, japan boss. The whole pedal's paint has already come off, only the wordings part still has some colour.

Edit : To above, its so hard to get back my own stuff. Even harder to contact him. I've already told him to pay me back if he actually lost it. No matter how much I force, its highly unlikely he'll pay me anyway.

if mint condition its worth way more than your DD-3, but since the paint has all worn off, maybe only half the value.

Yeah that boss pedal. I'll take a pic later when Im not feeling lazy. Havent tested it yet also, dont know whether it works.
