btw blacktrix, the CoB britney spear's cover i have is a studio recording, not live.
seems it was a surprise track from the 'are you dead yet?' album.

interesting news below, kinda weird that half of Zakk's band is there but no Zakk himself.

Amazing Lineup of Musicians in Tribute To Dimebag at NAMM
http://www.knac.com/article.asp?ArticleID=5229

As part of the after show festivities of this year's NAMM convention, this Saturday night, (January 20th), in the Pacific Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, California, The Black Tooth Band will pay tribute to Dimebag Darrell Abbott.

The band features the following list of players:

* Tim "Ripper" Owens (Beyond Fear, Iced Earth, ex-Judas Priest)
* Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead)
* Vinnie Paul Abbott (Hellyeah, ex-Pantera, Damageplan,)
* Scott Ian (Anthrax, S.O.D.)
* Paul Gray (Slipknot)
* Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall)
* John "JD" Deservio (Black Label Society)
* Nick Catanese (Black Label society)
* Brian Tichy (Billy Idol)
* Noah Robinson (Bleed the Sky)
* Eric Singer (KISS, Alice Cooper)
* Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper)

The band will perform three-songs on stage together as a special tribute to their fallen brother, Dimebag Darrell.

Man, that RR is SICK! I'm sure Zakk would have something like that already.
But Everdying, the COB cover I have was the studio version too. What I meant was that during the keyboard solo in their live concerts, they both play a small part of that riff. Can be heard in the Chaos Ridden Years DVD.

And the reason why Zakk isn't in the lineup...... Ozzy has him chained in the studio!

Disneyland AND the NAMM Convention........ total dream for me.

EDIT:
HOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEE CRRRRRRRRAAAAAAPPPPPPPP!!!

EVH SIGNS WITH FENDER!!!!!!!!!!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/macworld/20070121/...d/evh20070120_0

and

http://frontlinelive.fender.com/index.php?page=7#POST9

Buh-Bye Charvel, hello Fender!!!!!!

Eddie looked freakin' Wasted in the videos! BUT, unlike Sam Totman..... he sure can play the fiddle!

Man....... if they made a relatively cheap Frankenstrat (NOT the USD $25,000 one!)...... I would consider buying it!!!

Wow.... a Hall of guitar hero's great! Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhodes, next year Dimebag and hopefully..... EVH!!

Hmmmmmmmm....... but contemplating between the Dimebag Razorback flame or the Gibson BFG Les Paul....... at least I have a year to think it over!!

yea, read all that in the recent Guitar World already.
and between dimebag and BFG? dimebag wins hands down.
you have to see actual pics, and not what gibson puts up, of the BFG to realise how ugly it actually is.

Yeah..... but who knows...... I might be crazy enough to bring BOTH back home! hahahahaha...... Probably going in Late 2008, around October/November (Halloween in Disney World baby!!!!), so that's about a year and a half to save up cash!!!!

The Razorback is at the top of the list, no question......

No... I'm not rich. Just obsessed with guitars. If I was rich, I'd already have a Gibson Les Paul Custom, Marshall JCM800 2203z and all the MXR effects in my collection already................

i'm more interested in the fender/boss colaboration.

those new boss pedals look like another line of modified boss pedals with different names.
i bet the dynadrive and especially the metalcore will be discontinued after a couple yrs, and be added to the long line of boss pedals that no one gave a damn about.

btw, its not how rich you are.
but how bad you want the gear.
you think kirk hammett was rich when he bought his first Gibson V? he had to work in some burger joint for a few months.

Some parents help, but most of my gear, especially all my pedals, was my own cash.
