Wow. I can't get over how country John 5's albums are..... currently listening to Songs for Sanity........ hunting for Vertigo.........
I hear Zakk is going to be on John's third album...... Can't WAIT!!!!!

EDIT:

Just remembered.......

it's going to be the 2 year anniversary (has it been THAT long?) of Dimebag's death..... If you're a praying person.... just keep him in your prayers.....
Say what you want about Dimebag, he was an awsome guitarist and a widely documented all around nice guy........

You'll be missed.....

And don't bother trying to squeeze out discounts. They usually won't give you any.......
But yes..... so far the official distributer are Guitar Collection....... Find 'em in Midvalley, 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid or Taman Tun.

Just use a 1/4" inch to 1/8th" inch cable and plug it into your soundcard.
But wouldn't recommend..... Acoustic guitars aren't really meant to be plugged in that way and use effects. There ARE software available, but wouldn't recommend it....... if you don't adjust your settings.... could even blow your speakers (combination of loud amp + crap soundcard [Like onboard motherboard] + crap speakers).......

And another thing...... I really don't see WHY the Laiho model is soooooo expensive.... even for the US.... it's not even to Laiho's spec! They don't have that booster that's inbuilt into his guitars....... really sucks ass

I thought he used it since the Jackson era???

I must be mistaken....... but hopefully, they'll add in the booster as standard for the ESP models..... then it's a TRUE signature guitar.....

Probably the LTD version has to live without the Booster.

Also...... got a question for all your Pick-up modders.

I noticed that on my RR3, when the volume is turned all the way down on the neck pickup (and it's on full on the bridge) I still get sound..... it's only until I turn the bridge volume off is when the guitar becomes silent...... it works vice versa (ie.. turning down the bridge while the neck is on full)....

Is it because of the way the Seymour Duncans are wired, or can it be fixed/rewired?

Really annoying as I can't make it a true cut-off switch like my Les Paul.....

So, if by that theory, I replace the switch with say a Les Paul one, will that do the trick?

Because on both my Les Pauls, the killswitch thing works perfectly........

I have no idea what you're talking about............ but with any techniques, just start practicing.... and I mean like, religiously.... baby steps dude.....

Do you have a tutor or go for classes? The most stupid mistake a Noob can make is thinking they can learn guitar on their own and become a pro in months if they just keep practicing....... Well, you'll need someone to show you the ropes, the correct (and incorrect) way of doing things, chord progression, scales...... just take up a few lessons.... then once you feel like you learned enough, start practicing on your own.

I KNOW I'm gonna get flammed for this one, so bring it on!!!

In that case I take EVERYTHING back...... if you can self learn and sound as good as z3r0l33t.......... then EVERYBODY should self learn.... Zero's skills are freakin' amazing.

Yes. It's called The Gathering v2.0.......

And if I switch my toggle on Neck, Neck pickup off but Bridge pickup on..... yes. There is a faint sound.......

Well, we all started that way. Heck..... you name a note on the fret board and I STILL can't find it..... really. I suck at fretboard theory......
My guitar teacher always "marah" me on my fretboard theory........

Arggggggghhhhh.... Don't tempt me man! Already spent 2k on my Jackson!
Won't get my guitar cash fund until after February!

Anyway, decided that I'm going for a CeriaTone JCM800 2204.... Will get it with 6550 power tubes as well.... And then have to save up again for a Marshall 1960 Cabinet!

Man, that V looks wicked cool.......
But never a big fan of the speedloader though.... They say they break WAY too easily AND are quite expensive.

Also, you can't use Nylon Strings on an acoustic.......
I dunno if you actually CAN... but even if it does, it'll sound like crap.

Sorry. Don't make userbars anymore..... you can check the userbar forums for some help on making them.

Anyway, since it IS xmas time again..... you should all be listening to the 2 very excellent Guitar Axemas albums....... My personal favorites from the collection are Stu Hamm's Sleigh Ride, Eric Johnson's The First Noel, Steve Vai's Christmas Time Is Here, Paul Gilbert's Mount. Fuji Xmas and of course, Zakk Wylde's White Christmas

Nah. I bought the Jackson mainly because of the Seymours. The previous run of the RR3 had the Duncan Design Detonator pickups which almost everybody agreed was crap. At least now it's a proper Duncan JB and Duncan Jazz pickups.

But HAVE been playing around with the idea of swapping the EMG-Hzs into them.......
