yep, bricked psp = total useless. just like a brick.
you can make it 'alive' again by changing motherboard. but it'll cost ya a bomb

did anyone hav experience in buying a psp in kl other than in imbi, lowyat or sg wang....

of course,...........i bought mine at sg wang..............rm900 1.5v, value pack, with free 512mb now i upgrade myself to 3.02oe

how to check?

if you seen any black dots when that certain part image suppose to be white, then confirm its dead pxel.

for me i got 2 stuck pixel, when the psp screen is black, can notice a white and a red dot

i mean how to detect efficiently when buying new psp?

it can only be seen clearly at certain time only right?

preferably change the date of ur psp to august..so tat the screen will hv a blue background color...AFAIK its the best color to detect dead pixel, which will present black in color...

or just change the wallpaper at theme settings. It has 12 different colors for each month

INM its audio volume limiter...

just bought mine in uk....hell ya...first unit had about 4 big clusters of stuck pixels. called up the service centres to request of an exchange....the second unit is worse!when u change the background to black colour.......the whole screen is like milky way now.....8 big clusters of stuck pixels n 6 small ones!!!!called up again yesterday to voice my dissatisfaction....will get a new unit on monday!!pray for me guys....i hope i will get a unit with perfect screen.is stuck or dead pixel really that common?the operator from the service centre said its inevitable n very common!!i cant believe it!!am i paying such a high price for a piece of defective junk??also.....does it really brick so easily when u downgrade it??
