after 1 week i bought the D40, i add a 55-200vr then after 1 month added another SB-800

hmm for me, i prefer tele.

i prefer the 55-200vr than the kit lens coz of longer distance, even when i was using 300d n 350d

now home got nikon 55-200 vr, canon 80-200 usm and the tamron 70-300 macro

heard tat D90 if coming out lo, patient la

1) Nikon VR 70-300mm

2) Sigma APO 70-300mm macro

Anyway, D40/D40x is a very good n value entry level dlsr except the af prob it is almost a prefect ed.

I will prefer a D80 add 70-200 F/2.8 or 200-500mm ^.^

D300, after buy the body pocket hangus ed la, cant buy lenses...

Think twice before u use the teleconverter coz it will drop 2 F stop. go for 70-300 vr better, at least for me la
