Can you connect your phone to your computer via the USB port?
My computer cant detect the phone, no internal storage or SD card is detected. Wonder how you guys do it?

Then something is very wrong with my Honor 7. Not only it cant be charged while phone turn on, it cant be detected by computer neither.
I am using Windows by the way.
Tomorrow need to go service center.
getting annoyed by this phone already.

Sometime I can successfully charge when the phone is turned on, sometime I cant. It is like a hit and miss thing.
I couldn't figure out what trigger this.
But I am almost certain is software problem because once the phone is off, charging is normal.

I sent the phone at 2/1/16 for warranty service due to un-identify reason of phone unable to receive charge while turned on.
Today receive sms informing the service is ready to be collected.
I called to inquire what is wrong with the phone and what repair has been done.

Problem: Motherboard of phone is faulty.

Repair: Give me a whole new phone, FOC. No service charge.

Feeling: Shocked and let's see this Saturday is this the happy ending.

Now I suspect probably due to the faulty motherboard my medication reminder app is not functioning normally.

Let's see.

Hey guys, if the Waze isn't running in the background, will your Honor 7 still can receive notification from other Waze user such as journey sharing or "Beep Beep"?
Those who have multiple phones with you can you please do a test?
Cause my Honor 7, if the Waze is not in the background, there will be no such notification till the user manually open the Waze app.

I see. Then guess as a Honor 7 owner we have no choice but to wait Mashmallow.

VeeJay Yes i have checked and make sure that Waze is supposedly allowed to give whatever notification it likes and is in the list of protected apps. Unfortunately this isn't sufficient to solve the problem.
