Yeah,the practice is a little shady, a mere internal upgrade and suddenly they get Marshamallow running out of the box, but somehow I doubt that model will get an official launch in Malaysia. We didn't even get the 64gb variant of the Honor 7,hahaha.

Marshmallow running in mainland China is very easy to do than outside of china.. They can release the latest version without issue because of the non available Google Service in china..

b140 is for Europe version only , is has pro camera , msome malaysian set already updated to b130 version via ota , you can updating too via local update

Pros
1. Great finger print reader.
2. Decent battery life, im using dual sim can get 5hours sot.
3. Great call experience, its clear and loud.
4. Got ir blaster.

Cons
1. Only 16 gb, if u use dual sim only left 10gb.
2. The speaker not loud as my prev one plus one.

Bought it for rm1150 at lazada coz use rm250 voucher code. Satisfied using it.

P.s: u didn't want to try redmi note 3? It got 32gb, and 4k battery. Sadly its not official and no global rom.

pro: value for money
high quality build, very fast fingerprint unlock, good screen, good camera under good lighting, good front camera with
decent daily performance with kirin and 3gb ram, extra 1 smart button

cons: kirin chipset gaming performance lack abit, some issue with notification not showing(whatsapp/etc),
camera not that good in low light situation

Eh,B130 is available? Pardon me questioning, but why does my phone say no update is available if checked for any OTA update? Why do some people get it early, and some don't? and where do I download the update file for my phone? I assume I just put the update file in my phone and go to the update menu in the phone to update it.

Did some googling and just managed to found a B120 update to the Honor 7, nothing more.

wait for your turn, soem people get it faster than others , I dont know why , if you know somebody that already updated, ask for the update file

No,am not. Since it was only a beta, I figured no need to hassle myself with any bugs or anything. Also, XDA forums has the 121B update right up to 140B. Is installing European firmware over our Malaysia phone something you'd advise against or is it ok?

I was using euro ROM for a while.. Once change (unlock bootloader) warranty is void.. It's a personal preference

Installing Euro firmware over our phone requires unlocked bootloader? In that case, i much rather stick with B120 for now,hahaha. What firmware are you on as of now tho?

how you change back to lolipop from marshmallow beta , many people bricked their h7 after change back to lolipop from marshmallow beta

Make sure the storage are not encrypted (very important)
Reset factory
Flash recovery and all the friends

Only use signed ROM (currently best bet is B100)
