QUOTE(TechnoG @ Jul 29 2015, 11:02 PM) I dont trust patching, cause my friends said if patch every week the tyre pressure will fall and need to pump. my patched tire(s) all work fine....no need to pump every week, maintain just like any normal tire.damn mafan isn't it whats your experience on patched tyres? If tampal dy still leaking, means the workmanship is not good. Besides, RM5 to tampal, if not working then only change tire, isn't it a better option? |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Jul 30 2015, 12:14 AM) no sudden loss of air pressure? every time tayar pancit need to change tyre? wow pepel like u relly give business to tayar shop liao. quite sad la hahah my factory tayar only went for 4,000km don't really want to change it. last time my front left tayar got punctured, i go tampal tayar. now feel like leaking again. but not sudden loss of air. 1 week feel like ok. but usually i pump every week also ok no problem also. with that tyre i safely travel from kl-melaka, kl - serendah back and forth. i think you need consultation from the brotherhood of saga here. a lot you need to learn. go to the tayar shop u trust lor. u self u said u no trust patching. any shop can do patching, but the thing is about workmanship. but if punctured hole is too big, then cannot do patching lor. i willing go patching multiple times still affordable than straight change new tyre. fyi i go to tayar shop 14km from my house just to do patching LOL. Hi Bro... damn mafan isn't it whats your experience on patched tyres? Attn: Bros iskazulka .. dares .. V12Kompressor .. r3apers Best way 2patch up a tubeless tyre ==> http://tyrestore.in/tubelesstyre.asp However most local shops dun do that... Me had probs getting that method done..even in Pg!! T Shops charge more (me used 2pay RM15-20 per patch incl labour charge...no gst that time!) but shops still prefer short cut simple method (esp for small diam punctures)...simple & fast... Customers also prefer cos cheap & fast! For safety, me recommend this inner to outer patch...esp for larger diam holes... ps. Me still searching for image of that type of patch... UPDATE : 1. Newer (branded) patches? http://www.schraderinternational.com/Produ...c_lang=en-US-SA 2. Wat me meant & had done b4...called (now me rber...) a combination patch!: Pls watch the video ==> https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-78JIOaEG6c This post has been edited by zeone: Jul 30 2015, 10:25 AM |

Is the fluid. lol Didnt know CVT gearbox can be so tahan lasak huhu Partly is due to the construction of CVT box which is hermetically sealed, so the fluid doesn't get oxidized as fast as ATF. |

Very true there...esp for tiny punctures...eg hole is much smaller than available rubber plugs... If well done, no leaks! Larger punctures reli need the internally done combination patch 2b safe for hiway & fast driving...IINM.... ps. My Gaga still running on 1 patched up tyre for oledi 6 mths....city & A/S -Pg Hiway use...so far still like UNpunctured tyre!! Nail was only the small abt 1 inch kind....
