It pains me to say this but I would advise you NOT TO.

I honestly felt duped buying this game. Don't even care about the poor textures/graphic performance issues, but the core issue for me is the gameplay: the extremely bad AI in combination of all those super repetitive missions ruins everything for me. Make no mistake, the locations are beautiful, varied and fun. The music is badass!! Nothing like Jimi Hendrix greets you on the welcome screen. The map is big enough for my taste, and gunplay is satisfying. But the people who roam the streets are as clever as zombies, they wouldnt care if I smack the living hell the guy next to them, police pays no mind when you're speeding (not in MAFIA 2). For such a impressive setting there is so little you can do in the gameworld. Where is the clothing stores? even Mafia 2 six years back has it. Barbershop? none. No character customisation options at all. Then the characters. At least in the predecessor you would have a few key characters to keep the narrative going. Here, it is Lincoln going against the world, your allies doesn't matter, and enemy bosses are so weak it felt just like any chump you would kick on the streets.

At this point I felt the game was being rushed out to meet datelines. It could have been so much more but they decided to sell a turd. What a disappointment.
