Hi, where can find for Suzuki Swift dealers? Their website only shows an announcement? Has Suzuki ceased sales of their cars in Malaysia?
*
Already ceased.

Any recommended brake pad for SS? I got my SS from used car. I find that the brake does not stop well sometimes not sure whether it's worn or what but in the previous full service I was told that it's still doing well. Advise needed pls.
*
Mine still got sufficient grip. But if i change, perhaps I would go for Bendix.

Try to drop a FB message to XD Autowerks here.

Sent to the workshop twice already and no luck. They ran a diagnostic check and replaced new spark plug but still the problems pursue. For the wind noise I think it could be my rear bumper that is sticking out a bit from a minor accident that is making the whistling wind noise. As for the fuel problem, I don't know what could it be other than tyre pressure and the need of an oil change. Other than that, I'm planning on upgrading my suspension, any recommendations?
*
If no error on OBD, then could be some mechanical strain holding your car back.

Jack the car up, and try to roll the tires. Of course, leave the car in N and let the hard brake down

Guys do anyone of you face rattling sound like horse gallop coming from the steering wheel whenever you drive over uneven road surfaces?

And how much and what to pay for 50k mileage service???

Im intending to bring it to my own personal car workshop that my family always send their car to.
*
Could be steering rack or steering column.

I'm a proud SS owner for 2 years + now.

Thinking to change the suspension system to a harder one as the original one is just way too soft. Not too sure if it's just me or anybody else notice it too.

Anybody has any recommendations & estimated costs? Would be great if you could suggest a reliable workshop too.

Thanks.

Give or take about RM2,000 for a good set of adjustables.

Hi guys,

for SSS, any idea how to replace the battery in the remote key hob?  I can't seem to find the opening
*
According to here..

QUOTE
Remove the key itself then you will see a small slot where the key usually sits, take a small flat blade screwdriver and prise the key fob open.

wanna ask all sifus here, what engine oil and which specs is the best suit for 2010 model?
*
Most engine oils are fine

So far, I filled mine with semi synethetic 10W-30 oil.

In case if anyone's concerned about the Takata airbag recall, fret not.

I've called and verified that the Swift is NOT affected by the recall as the Swift uses airbags from Siemens and Continental.

Actually i am looking at P1 ertiga, its donor car is swift. same engine and tranny, same dashboard. All Parts r fr Suzuki Indo, assembled in bolehland.
*
While the donor may be a Swift, some interior parts could differ.

Assuming Proton plans to CKD the car on their own later on, you may want to get the initial batch of CBU units. Proton has a history of messing up when it comes to CKD cars.

just survey only. Ergati could be P1 volume seller. If screw this up, mean 1 step nearer to close shop, not a bad thing for consumers right! brows.gif

as for the absorbers, ckd malaysia, normally its APM or KYB.. anyway if latest model, just avoid the stock original oem. try to get other brand.

1. mud flap. anybody bought it elsewhere?
2. re-call, appointment done, pending.
3. center arm rest -> laugh.gif - RM200  dry.gif
4. rear boot mat/container -> RM150

2011 model, 1.5L CKD.

they advised me to change:
Lower arm = rm 559 x2
Absorber N6= rm556.90 x2
Link rod = rm 151.40 ×2
Stabilizer bar bush= rm 22.70 ×2
Absorber mountain = rm 131.90x2

as you know sc will ask you to change everything, which I dont think it is needed for now.

Do you have any recommended mechanic or shop for me in case i want to change my absorber or to check the condition of  it.

Thanks!!
*
Unless your car has been through a major accident, these items are not needed to change. What's your car mileage btw?

To check the condition of your suspension, you can PM nestum to have a look. He's trustworthy smile.gif
