Hey guys, I think its time to change my drive shafts already, everytime i make turn, there seems to be a clanking noise. Should i just service it or change to a brand new original one? Are there any reliable part shops that I can get it from?

Also, my mileage is already 130k km (Swift 2011 model) I think in due time I need to change the timing chain. How much is the estimated damage for this ya?

So if Proton is taking over Suzuki CKD (ie rebadging them), then how about the spare parts for the original Suzuki Swift? Will it be even pricier than before?

check with workshop, if its only damaged cv joint, some of the shop are able to help you replace with new cv joints.
Unless you're MT swift, then buy NTN drive shafts are even more reasonable than with the ori's with SGP sticker on it.
Timing chain can last longer than you thought, even till 300k km, unless you don't service on time and using bad quality lubricant. Check with technician first better.

I have the same clutch noises, annoying but I doubt SC gonna do anything about it..

did some finding and found out that swift sport auto was using Jatco cvt, which was infamous for it highly failure rate. maybe that is the cause?

But why hq reluctant to change a new gb for me? Kept claiming its normal and no loss of power?

I know gb is expensive. But that's why people buy new cars for right? Spend 100k+ in a car.. A year old.. I'm not supposed to spend more for a new gb right?
