Since few days ago, I saw an article being articulated across the web, saying that Maxis is offering 2 GB extra quota for existing Surfmore 50 customers, hence one gets to pay RM 50 for 4 GB quota.

Now I have friend who received this SMS from Maxis, however I have yet to receive any official info from Maxis

so when are you guys going to make this official? or do you intend to keep this among your long term customer only?

What does it mean? Too lazy to call up maxis. Additional 2gb every month or 2gb over 6 months?

Maxis please clarify whether or not all Surfmore 50 users are entitled for this offer

This promotion is open to all new and existing SurfMore 50 Plans customers

So, you should receive the notification from them

OMGGGG !! I yesterday just ported out from maxis to DIGI because of the new promotion and now maxis have add on 2gb !!! I REGRET IVE MADE THIS DECISION !

For 6 months only la. Why bother.

Extra 1GB from the current Digi plan that you use right now but you're saving much more money.
Also, the extra 2GB from Maxis is only valid for 6 months.

So why on earth that makes you regret MNP from Maxis to Digi?

Umobile so far is the most tempting offering

if one do not mind about the LTE coverage, actually it is not bad

but really hope Maxis can extend this offer indefinitely

2gb for 6 months mean 2gb every month for 6 months or 2gb for whole 6 month (333mb per month x6)?

Hmmm..since it's a promotion period, by right it should be back to square 1, unless Maxis has any other promotions coming soon after 6 months

But only for 6 months. Other telcos are offering it permanent.

Once you enjoyed 4gb data, and it revert back to 2gb, suffering man... Forced to pay extra to buy.

yesterday applied to port out from maxis to celcom

you know what, the celcom guy told me that it is maxis that is always asking questions to customers who wish to port out

switching telcos is our rights as a consumer, that shouldn't be any questions asked.

You are on SurfMore FREE 2GB x 6 Mths plan. You have reached 80% of your quota: 2048 MB. Current usage 1,638.9 MB. Balance 409.1 MB. Your plan will be renewed on 00:00:00 10-08-2015.

Is this statement means that I've used up 80% of the free quota??? Haven't touched on my existing 2048 MB quota of SurfMore 50 plan? A little confused here. It should have shown total of 4GB instead of 2GB.

The message that U gt is for the free quota only la. It stated clearly Surfmore 'FREE'...once U utilized the free quota then the following SMS x de FREE lor....

You'll be going to use the free 2gb first. Once all that used up, only then the existing allocated 2gb will be utilised.

i switched back to maxis, after less than 1 week with celcom

one thing i notice is, torrent is blocked on maxis mobile network, while celcom 3g torrenting is quite fast
