My bro and I bought Lenovo Y580 FHD when it first laumched in Msia. These are ori Malaysia set. We got extended warranty promo 3 years. My bro y580 having high temp issue, after a year and half his laptop is dead. He did not send his laptop to warranty because his y580 casing was damaged and lenovo reject warranty claim. My y580 just died this year Mar. Apparently the warranty was expired last year Aug. While using lenovo laptop I pursuaded two of my fren to buy y480. One bought AP and another ori Malaysia. The ori y480 was sent twice for warranty, 1st prob speaker, 2nd motherboard dead. So this is my experience with lenovo laptops. Judge urself.
