The most reliable brand goes to?

Based on your luck. There's always a lemon.

Dell >> getting worst in their Products quality, compare to back in 2012. Hopefully service is still good.
HP >> already quit
Toshiba >> already quit
Acer >> still trying hard to get low cost productions look good. 4/10 is a fail.
Lenovo >> trying hard to lowering down costing = lowering down quality
Asus >> keeping price and quality balanced but failed in providing quality and professional services because of lazy and fresh man Malaysian after sales service provider.

As i said, there's always a faulty device. based on your luck. Else check carefully before purchase.

Dead pixels on LCD, or TN panels are very common problem.

I don't think HP quit and the latest HP Spectre x360 had one of the best review out there (even better than Dell XPS 2015)

Yup, their products are getting fewer. The sales and profits are down falling + poor Malaysia economic status. Many products are holding and pulling their markets away.

Good to hear that. As i doing services also receive complains almost everyday about every brand.
So as long as you're not getting a lemon , and you know how to maintain it well. then it would be working fine.

What do you think about Illegear products ?

Not bad, custom gaming laptop. But in term of design... all chasis and parts from China suplier. But they are growing really well due to increasing sales lately thanks to Z5 and other models as well.
They did provide warranty so its ok.

Where they manufacture doesn't matter. Quality control are the most important after all. ILLEGEAR are company which cooperate, assemble parts from many supplier and manufacturer. Am i right? PCB designs which can fits all the upgrades such as wide variety of processors and graphics cards.
The company which doesn't manufacture their own custom parts where they cannot ensure how the quality controlled by the original manufacturer. Chassis designs, and elements layout are all widely used by many other company as well overseas. But indeed the company provide good custom job and services include warranty.

Keep it up, someday may have custom chassis design available then i will come for investment biggrin.gif
