Will Chrome Plating reduce Heat Conductivity?, thinking of plating my cooler..

by the way? what type of chrome plating u r doin? electrolysis or the spray type?
izzit metal or other elements for chroming? if u use electrolysis, then it should be ok...but if the chromeing process uses other material than metal, there will be a heat problem...the fin is design to desipate heat, if u do pure electrolysis chroming, that's good, conductivity is still good, but if other method is used, i'm not sure the heat can desipate quick or not...

in this case, can u can't simply bcos the heat can't desipate effectively due to non non or poor conductive elemen....i was correcting ur statement, not within this case

haha...my bad....i was refering to 'Jackygwh' question too...ehehe...anyway, u can do it but it's very hard to find such place that can do that kind of stuff & i'm sure it's expensive...
