That's just a general guide. You need to deduct everything first then only will know. Sometimes even your income at rm4000 a month also no need to pay tax thumbup.gif

So from the PDF file it shows min salary taxable is starts from $2851 not 3k as I expected?

It seems far from deduct lesser from what has been deducted based on salary. Does it because the company has something that is tax free like donation something or what that make it lesser? Thx

I have a situation:

If I am employed by an overseas company (not registered in Malaysia) and working from home in malaysia, and the salary is TT into local M'sia bank biweekly basis

a) How do I fill up borang BE in this case, or should I change to Borang B?

b) Am I obligated to pay EPF?

You gotta check with your overseas company or via payslip whether did they deduct income tax from your bi-weekly salary or not. If yes, then surely you fill up Borang BE. Borang B is for those self-employed like insurance agent/property agent/business & etc who doing business themselves.
