I have a question for the sifus here.

To give some background, I filed tax return late for YA2021 and YA2022 1+ months ago on MyTax. I wasn't aware of the SVSP 2.0 thingy at that time. I just filed normally and paid all the tax amount owed that was auto-calculated after filling the form, thinking that if there's late penalty I'll just have to pay it.

Fast forward to today, I received Notis Taksiran from LHDN for those 2 years. Reading those two notis, I get the impression that they are saying I still owe taxes.

But then I compared the amounts from the notice and it's exactly the same as what I paid two months ago. No. Bil also matches. Furthermore, I searched everywhere on MyTax (e.g. e-Lejar for those two years, e-Billing, ByrHasil using the No. Bil from the notis) and just couldn't find any indication that I owe taxes.

So my question is: is the info on MyTax authoritative in terms of my tax status / amount owed, and that the Notis Taksiran in my case is just a FYI? Right now, I feel like I was supposed to get the Notis Taksiran straightaway after filing tax 1+ months ago, and it's just red tape / snail mail causing it to arrive so late, causing all these confusion. Thoughts?

Edit: Rereading the SVSP message in MyTax's Mail Box (which I only found out about today - didn't even notice while filing tax return for YA2023), I saw this
QUOTE

So I guess I was supposed to wait until I got the notis taksiran before paying the amounts owed? Dei this is so confusing...

Tarikh on the notice is the same date I filed my tax returns which was 1+ month ago. Yeah if I had waited, it would have exceeded the 30 days limit. rclxub.gif

Weird.. submitted BE form but when I click "Print Acknowledgement" or "Print e-BE" I get this page saying "Your BE/B/BT/M/MT session has expired on 05-March-2025 18:24:34:783
Please re-login to continue"

There is also this popup when loading the Acknowledgement Receipt e-BE page that says "Sila tunggu sehingga slip pengesahan penerimaan selesai dijana"

Don't remember having this issue in the past.

Update: it works now. I guess the system was slow just now.
