I bought quite some amount of books (and still keep the receipt) last year from Popular and Kinokuniya.

While I aware that books are one of the tax rebate that I can apply for, but I was wondering is there any requirements? (like the receipt must mention my name just like normally when we bought laptop we have to give our name and IC for tax purpose)

First time tax payer, bought a few books in Kinokuniya and Popular Book Store.

I am a member of Popular Book Store, I supposed tracing back should not b an issue for gov since the receipt has printed my membership ID.

For Kinokuniya however, am I able to submit as it is for tax deduction? I don't know how to explain if audited lol.

Need advise on this, thanks Sifus.
