Guys under the section: EDUCATION & MEDICAL INSURANCE
It states A relief not exceeding RM3,000 is available on insurance premiums in respect of education or medical benefits for an individual, husband, wife, or child.
Does that mean I can include my wife medical premiums too? I'm filing individually btw, but I'm paying for my wife's insurance though its not under my name.

Got a question, Education and medical insurance / can I claim maximum of 3000 if I'm paying over 5k of yearly insurance for both myself, wife and child?
My wife is not working btw however their premiums are under their name.
"A relief not exceeding RM3,000 is available on insurance premiums in respect of education or medical benefits for an individual, husband, wife, or child. The total relief in respect of premiums paid for insurance on education and medical benefits is restricted to RM3,000 for an individual and RM3,000 for the wife who has source of income. If the husband or wife elects for joint assessment, the relief allowed for the total of premiums paid for insurance on education and medical benefits is restricted to RM3,000. Refer to Working Sheet HK-14"
I have no idea what it meant.

QUOTE(postfishcracker @ Mar 25 2018, 12:59 PM) you can claim maximum of rm3,000 for education and medical insurance. https://cukaipendapatan.wordpress.com/2016/...-30-april-2017/I'm well aware of that dude, what I'm saying is can I include my non-working wife's premium into mine which adds a total limit of RM3,000 or only for myself which is only RM1,700'ish.

QUOTE(suadrif @ Mar 25 2018, 01:35 PM) same case as mine. i paid insurance for my fulltime housewife. is it claimable? another thing is, my internet and postpaid are all autobilling, with no receipt. is that OK? Same here, I paid insurance for myself, kids and fulltime wife. I know the limit is RM3,000 but if possible I would like to claim max it else it will only be individual. To answer your question bro, my internet is also autobilling. Definitely can since you can always call your service provider to produce the yearly statement. My internet is TIME, autodebit...I called their customer service to pull a yearly statement for me.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Apr 11 2020, 12:24 PM) If your ledger has below two lines, then your filing has been processed: | XX/0X/2020 | XX/0X/2020 | Taksiran Disifarkan | | XX/0X/2020 | XX/0X/2020 | Bayaran Balik |
QUOTE(thecurious @ Apr 11 2020, 01:50 PM) if you see the bayaran balik in your e-lejar. probably be refunded after 5 days at least. I don't see those that u mentioned in e-lejar. I only see Baki Cukai Bayaran Belum Boleh Guna Baki Lejar And the amount.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Apr 11 2020, 02:13 PM) Then it's either has not started or still under processing. Ah okay thanks! Just felt weird that I submitted both mine and hers on the same day (23rd March) and I've gotten mine on (4th April) And the funny thing is the amount excessive is much lower compared to mine but I got paid instead.
