Government is now running "special promo" for tax evaders, people who doesn't file income tax and those who has understated your income. Better to surrender and pay a penalty as low as 15% - 20% rather than 100% - 400% later. This promo ends Dec 15.

I think people should take this chance and settle any pending issues with LHDN.
Remember there's two things that are certain in life; death and taxes.

I am wondering if income from Forex trading is legal in the eyes of LHDN? I have trading statements from a licensed broker in Australia to back the profits.

Just send an email to LHDN to ask about tax relief. How long does LHDN usually take to respond?

Recently I paid RM 5k to attend the Real Estate Negotiator course. This course allows me to be licensed REN under LPPEH (A government body). It will take 2 years to complete the course as the examination is administered by the government body.

The question is can claim under educational relief? Am a bit confused. I emailed the institute they also don't dare to give any direct answer.
