Hi guys. I received a summon letter from LHDN 2 days ago saying i havent paid my tax for year 2015 and 2016. The issue is my employer pays for my tax yearly. They even provided me receipt of the bank transfers but according to LHDN, they haven't received the payment. Now they're asking for proof that the transactions were successful.

Also, for 2015 I was deemed a non-resident and charged 25% eventhough I was in the country for 340+ days and I wasn't out of the country for more than 14 consecutive days.

I'm planning to make an appeal for this on Monday with my supporting docs but I doubt that something good will come out of it. I'm a foreigner by the way.

Any pointers you can give before I walk in there?
