For year 2022 assessment, we can still claim 2.5 + 2.5k lifestyle tax right. Am thinking whether it is worth to use it during 12.12 sales…
Can I ask, say if you are in the 24% tax bracket, can I say that if I purchase a 1k laptop, I can essentially get a RM240 discount in the form of tax relief? |

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Mar 2 2023, 08:41 AM) Ya ya. Approved my appeal but I did not get my money back. I had also enquired in LHDN office around 6 months ago and they said the payment is under processing. It's been coming to one year by end of this month. Is that normal? haha Have to keep chasing them and follow up. |

QUOTE(1mr3tard3d @ Mar 9 2023, 10:19 AM) not aware of extension to this relief mutually exclusive should also ensure that the institution is approved any reason why you are not allowed to claim to the RM 4,000 EPF relief yes, eligible no personal relief on that have heard that someone replying the tax audit via email (soft copy) without issue but there was once an officer mentioned that the concept is when the IRB request for physical copy, it must be available (not sure whether original is required) Guess best is to have the physical copy ready then (with the exception of online purchase I guess). |

For medical expense, say we have insurance to cover, we can only claim the part that we paid right?
Say I have RM500 co-insurance + some expenses that are not covered under insurance plan, I should be able to claim this? |

QUOTE(1mr3tard3d @ Apr 16 2023, 05:55 PM) due to the time constraint 10% interest bro. I would suggest you just clear it one shot if you have the cash. The interest is way too high.u could visit the nearest LHDN branch and apply for instalment (subject to their approval) to increase the likelihood of success, bring along your bank statement, etc to show your cash flow difficulty in general, the instalments approved will be inclusive of 10% interest, i.e. total instalments will be amount to ~ RM 7,150 check your status of 'e-lejar' for YA 2021? |
